Consolidated from US news sources ( hard to find the complete list on western MSM).

“ DOD has announced the largest single US military aid package, via presidential “drawdown” authority for Ukraine worth $3bn ($24.2 billion so far). DOD said it welcomes Germany’s new commitment to provide Ukraine with one Patriot air defense battery (in coming months). The United States has already committed one Patriot battery to Ukraine(several months away). “The Biden administration will continue to encourage Allies and partners to make additional donations of air defense systems, artillery, combat vehicles, and other critical capabilities to support Ukraine in defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity for as long as it takes,” DOD said.

It includes transfers to Ukraine of weapons worth $2.85 billion from the Pentagon's reserves & $225 million in long-term foreign military financing. The package also contains $682 million for European allies in additional foreign military financing to “incentivize and backfill donations of military equipment to Ukraine by allies and partners,”.

It seems if the Ukies were actually winning this war of attrition, little welfare from the West would be needed. The obvious is the Ukies are “ expended”, losses far greater than reported by the Western MSM.

$2.85 BILLION in weapons alone- depleting our own stores, the wisdom is much like senile Joe depleting our Strategic Oil Reserves- the price to be paid for short sighted stupidity will be historic.

Every time I see the 105 mentioned I remember how much fun that gun is, it is just a blast to be using because it is so light and easy to handle, and handling the shells is easy and quick, the 155 is more like work.

This is totally planned! The Free World’s supply of military weapons are being depleted on purpose! Get ready for a Chinese peace keeping force that will have no opposition.

Well, the BIGGER IDIOTS are all the voters in Delaware that kept re-electing Joey. However, PA with the election of Fetterwoman seems to be saying the proverbial “ hold my beer” in regards to their demonstration of idiocy.

Your position is absurd. A war, not just a “war of attrition”, requires a constant flowing pipeline of supplies, ammunition and equipment. And men. That is war.

It doesnt matter what the casualty ratio is.

The Russians have to arrange the same.

What is the US Army (or lets say ground forces) military strength for? Who does the US intend to conduct a continental war against?

If you can answer that, then you can start making a case against “depleting” the US “military strength”. For instance, do you intend to wage all-out invasions of Canada or Mexico? Do you think you should prepare for a ground war in Asia?

Of course, it would also be good to specify what you mean by “military strength”, because the vast bulk of US power consists of the USN and the USAF. None of their equipment and ammo stocks have been sent to Ukraine.

It seems if the Ukies were actually winning this war of attrition,

Not really. UKR has been seeking territorial gain at the expense of force preservation, because they need to expand their receipt of aid. RF goals, clearly stated, is demilitarization and denazification - territory takes a back seat to those.

The RF actions are a reflection of their experience in this region. They took a lose no territory approach for Kiev and lost 665,000 in an encirclement to Army Group South in Seprember 1941. This basically led to the loss of the Donbass, a natural defensive position because it is hilly and full of roads (industrialized). If they had withdrawn to the Donbass with 750,000 men, things would have been quite different for the Caususes and Stalingrad.

The Red Army failed to withdraw from a salient in May 1942 pointed from Kharkiv to near Zapporizia, while Army Group South held the Western Donbass - a loss of another 250,000 to encirclement. Army Group South advanced on the flank from Western Donbass

Starting in June 1942, the Red Army thinking changed about Strategic retreat. It withdrew east of Karkiv and abandoned its positions north of the Seversky-Donets River. So withdrawal from Krasny-Liman / Izyium and the Kharkiv area last year was not surprising

The strategic importance, to RF thinking, of western Donbass should not be underestimated. They will take Bakmut, then Slavyansk / Kramatorsk -UKR will list the Donbass. Then it is over because they will not be able to defend against an RF a movement from the South along the Dneiper to Zapporizia / Dneprotovsk because they will be on Steppe.

What is different now is drone and signals. As I see it, this gives an attacking force greater artillery precision and the ability to attack while preserving force. It has turned the loss calculus on its head. RF attack in the Donbass losses are 5x less than UKR - Truly unbelievable and not reported in the Western Media.

Bonzai attacks in areas where the RF has prepared a strategic withdrawal has been an even bigger disaster for UKR.

Most of what was left in Afghanistan would have been of only marginal utility in Ukraine. Afghanistan was a very different sort of war, using few of the things that are heavily used in Ukraine.

There were very few ATGMs, SAM systems, manpads, 155mm guns and ammo, HIMARS rockets, and etc used by US forces or supplied to Afghan forces.

On the other hand, the US still has a vast surplus of MRAP mine resistant patrol vehicles and the like, besides a large number left behind in Afghanistan. Some of these have been sent to Ukraine, but they arent what the Ukrainians particularly need. Just one example.

Xi, the smart fish, waits while the US and Russia wear each other out. It won't be long now...

“Truly unbelievable and not reported in the Western Media.”

Nor is it taken seriously by analysts outside the “western” media.

This is because this actually unbelievable. It is purely an assertion by Russian propaganda sources without proof.

The US military is not wearing itself out in any way relevant to Xi. Chinas ambitions are primarily opposed by the USN and the USAF, neither of which has been affected by aid to Ukraine. That the US has supplied 1,000,000 155mm shells to Ukraine wont stop US air and naval operations off the Chinese coast.

Now, the US may cause a global financial collapse due to its excessive debt. I think that will hit China very hard also. And that US debt has nothing to do (or very little anyway) with aid to Ukraine. It is all to do with out of control domestic spending.

You may be right. But there are no “leaks” establishing what the RF losses are. I don’t think that is because our intel doesn’t know what they are. Western media (Stenographers for US intel agencies) are simy not focusing on the extent of RF casualty counts. So I tilt in favor of believing how RF use of technology has changed the reality and the calculus. But I could be wrong.
