Damar Hamlin is awake, alert, moving, and – perhaps most significantly – talking. Hamlin’s breathing tube was removed Friday for the first time since he’s arrived at the hospital, and the Buffalo Bills’ safety spent the morning talking with teammates and addressing the entire team via FaceTime.

I wonder where his mother/family stands on the vaxx....I would love to see them demand further tests, etc. I don’t even think the doctors are saying they are 100% sure it was “commotio cordis”.
Freepers had him dead of the vax before he was even carried off the field. If it wasn’t for jumping to conclusions, people here around here wouldn’t get any exercise at all.
Have you gotten your “booster” yet?
For the children.
This is good news. He seems to be a good kid. If he decides to play football again then he is crazy.
The anti-anti-vaxxers wouldn’t be able to handle the truth.
The anti-anti-anti-anti-vaxxers are the only ones I trust.
**I’d be interested to know if Damar had a “ near-death experience “.**
No mention of Lazarus (John 11) having any post death experiences. He was dead 4 days.
It’s a known syndrome. From 2000.

Non-penetrating chest blows and sudden death in the young
“ Collapse is usually near instantaneous, but there can be a period of activity following impact, usually only of a few seconds duration.”
That describes exactly what happened.
I assume like every NFL player he got the jab. More than once.
It’s theoretically possible the jab contributed, but no one knows and as known, these things are known to have happened even before this mRNA jab.
#answered prayers.
Oh, it’s you.
You may go now.
He’s a good Pittsburgh kid, who came from a shady part of town. Attended Central Catholic HS. and University of Pittsburgh. Was teammate at Pitt with current Steeler QB, Kenny Pickett. Prayers for his continued recovery! There were 5 ER physicians who were in the stands, who jumped in to assist with CPR/AED, etc. If anything, this incident may encourage more people to get CPR/AED certified.
The Buffalo Bills are a popular 2nd favorite team in our area.
Funny. You have no response.
Sad kind of.
Bo-ring.
But I’m sure you get that a lot.
Conceivably, if his heart didn’t sustain any structural damage, he could play again.
“There were 5 ER physicians who were in the stands, who jumped in to assist with CPR/AED, etc.”
That’s wonderful. Such a miracle. The kid seems very decent.
Hopefully if this is true, they learned some valuable things to help save others down the road.
Praise God for spearing his life!!
That’s where I went to medical school—UC Med is the 8th oldest med school in the country. Their traditions include attention to detail, questioning assumptions, always putting the patient first, and, BTW, having the first residency program in Emergency Medicine in the U.S. back in 1970 (I was in my third year).
