“The ends justify the means” — where have we heard that before?

Woe is our English language. This incessant use of plural for singular is horrendous and makes writing incomprehensible. Once we completely lose the ability to communicate coherently we are really doomed.

One of my undergrad degrees is in writing. I’d say the biggest thing I’ve learned about writing didn’t come from college though. I think it was Jordan Peterson who explained that “writing is thinking”.
If I’m forced to use “preferred” pronouns, I’ll put them in scare quotes.
