NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Shubham Chandra knows how dangerous the coronavirus can be: He lost his dad during the pandemic. So when he cleared customs at Newark Liberty International Airport and saw people offering anonymous COVID-19 testing, he was happy to volunteer.
“It’s a minimum amount of effort to help a lot of people,” said the 27-year-old New York City man, who had just stepped off a plane from Cancun, Mexico.
The airport testing is part of the government’s early warning system for detecting new variants, which began expanding recently in the wake of a COVID-19 surge in China.

China is cooking up new variants and looking to spread them because their economy is crashing and they want the idiots in the west to panic like they did last time.
The testing is likely to monitor for new variants since China China s not forthcoming with info. I’m sure Chinese coming in are safer that what’s coming across the southern border.

The oh-so-trustworthy Worldometer shows even less. And IMHE at the U of Washington isn't even tallying and forecasting anymore. What's up with that? For years now during this media "event," we've been told to trust our sources. Our official sources. Now? Bupkus.

Lock down! That's the answer, ha! Because China isn't now, and see what's happening? Or not. I suspect this is the next gambit, stuffed with pictures and videos. Dropping dead on the streets! Lock down! Because the last lock downs across the West have done so well.
Small point about JHU. Their stats show the US with its 4 percent of the population accounts for 16 percent of the Covid deaths. Four times the global death rate.... What's up with that? Trust the CDC? FDA? Protocols? Mandates?
