Every DAY a DEMOCRAT will do it!!
>term limits is a joke and going nowhere...let’s think about the senate and joe and his pen.
imagine the difference in government now if term limits went through in the 90s
Term limits is needed particularly for the House.
However, repeal of the 17th Amendment is more fundamental.
If it was gone you might not need term limits for the Senate. Since the state legislature is back to picking the senators (As the Founders intended!) every state legislator or state grandee would see him\herself in that chair. I think there would be plenty of competition to provide the necessary rotation in & out of office.
I think every vote cycle against him has reduced is potential leadership capabilities in the future. Who wants a speaker that was voted down seven plus times?
Isn't Article V of the Constitution the only way to get that done? And if Rep. Norman succeeds, the ONLY amendment that should be added is another try at a balanced budget amendment. A Convention of States entertaining more than one is a recipe for disaster.
The most important issue being asked for, working on Voter Fraud, is conspicuously missing.
That’s not actual McCarthy caving as much as enough of the 20 holdouts caving—if indeed they swing to support him.
It’s pathetic there are only these brave 20 who will stand up for what’s right while the rest of them simply roll over and play dead
Most of this crap is for individual critter gain or for show. Guaranteeing votes that aren’t going to go anywhere is a poor exchange for keeping the Swamp Creature in Chief.
No, this is the uniparty show conservatives caving to the RINOs once again.
signed, sworn, publicly, under penalty of death.
You have a good point.
Any time Congress uses its time to fight with each other instead of its constituents is a great day in America.
No, keep rejecting him, because McCarthy will stab us when & if he feels like doing so. That time will come sooner, not later.
Yeah. Right. Term limits. Even the 1994 Republicans backed down from that. They like power. They like money. They like boinking their secretaries. They’re not doing it.
A motion to vacate by a member of the minority party is pointless. They can dispense with it by a quick show of hands.
I guess MTG finally got the message..... be a chaos agent for your constituents and you don’t get any committees and are made irrelevant on capital hill.
Her support of McCarthy, given his uniparty roots and big spending ways, is quite curious.
The retribution on the 20 who are actually trying to represent the base will be certain.
“McCarthy can’t be trusted.”
And you’re saying the rest can? I’m too old to throw anyone anymore.

Yeah. 6 years total is the opposite extreme and is too short.
Point taken there.
