Where did this ‘two-spirit’ nonsense come from? Back when Coronado was looking for the 7 Cities of Cibola they found a village of homo Indians who had been driven out of other Indian villages.
And George Catlin mentioned “dandies” among the Mandans who were so disliked by the rest of the tribe that they demanded he destroy their portraits rather than have them in the same room with the dandy or destroy the dandy’s painting. He destroyed the Dandy’s painting.

In high school I was so dark and had features that made me look like our football coach's son. Our coach was related to Quanah Parker and full blooded Comanche. Many times I've been approached since then and asked if I was Native American or part...nope..not one iota. I am Scotch, Irish, English and German ancestry all the way down the line..proved with documents and backed up with DNA. These folks are scam artists and mentally defective.
