I would prefer Jordan over McCarthy any day of the week, but telling Congressmen to line up behind a guy who is currently looking at a 20-202 deficit in the vote makes for some terrible political optics.

Serious question that we all need to ask ourselves....since when did democrats give a crap about optics when they were force feeding their agenda down our throats? They have been pretty damned effective by not giving a crap. When are we going to join the real fight?

Jordan is backing McCarthy & doesn’t want the job, he wants to do what he does best, attack & investigate the democrats.

I don’t care for McCarthy, but he has the most votes and actually wants the Speaker position.

Also, McCarthy was the only one I ever saw fundraising and campaigning in my state. Oregon democrats got cute with redistricting and we almost ended up with a 3-3 split in the House.(4-2 dem but they gerrymandered for 5-1)
