What is the discipline of apologetics?
A term most often used in reference to the Christian faith — you may have heard of noted apologists like C.S. Lewis or R.C. Sproul — apologetics is a “systematic argumentative discourse” to intellectually defend a particular viewpoint. Using reason and logic leaves no room for fallacy or emotionality, strengthening the defender’s position and weakening the opposition’s.
With that in mind, take a look at what President Trump said below:
Trump blames pro-lifers, the most loyal voting bloc the Republican Party has had for more than 40 years, for the disappointing midterms. This is self-immolation in real time. You can’t make this stuff up.

Let’s hone in on one thing:
It was the ‘abortion issue,’ poorly handled by many Republicans, especially those that firmly insisted on No Exceptions, even in the case of Rape, Incest, or Life of the Mother….
As you can see, Steve Deace castigated the president, as did many in the comments.
From someone who is a Christian, an anti-abortion absolutist, and still solidly behind my president, all I glean from President Trump’s statement is that he is capable of erring, and in need of a crash course in anti-abortion apologetics. So let’s get to it….
(Let me preface this by defining the scope of my argument within the realm of the natural world — I can’t begin to cover a transhumanist reality.)
When does a human life begin? The objective answer would be that life begins at the moment of conception. How do we know that? Well because before that moment, that entirely unique set of DNA did not exist,

“Trump can’t get the votes McCarthy needs to be elected speaker.”
Since when has Trump worked his will with the Republicans in Congress. They have resisted him from day one. Also, do you really think Trump would be hurt if Jim Jordan is elected?
“Trump wanted Senator Scott elected minority leader but McConnell was reflected by a wide margin.”
Since when has Trump worked his will with the Republicans in Congress, especially, of all places, the Senate. They have resisted him from day one.
“Several of Trump’s high profile endorsements in the midterms lost.”
Go talk to Mitch the Bitch about that.
“His super hero trading card announcement made him a laughing stock.”
The cards sold out in a matter of hours, so the ones laughing have for some reason quit laughing.
“The proof is there. You choose to ignore it.”
Yes, sir, the proof is there and you choose to ignore it.
The true believers will always drink whatever kool-aid Trump serves up.
“Since when has Trump worked his will with the Republicans in Congress, especially, of all places, the Senate. They have resisted him from day one.”
Which is why we need a new leader. One that the Republicans in Congress will respect.
“Go talk to Mitch the Bitch about that.”
Which would mean McConnell runs the show and not Trump.
“The cards sold out in a matter of hours, so the ones laughing have for some reason quit laughing.”
They are still laughing. And polls continue to show Trump’s support declining. People want someone who is a winner. Someone younger. Not someone near the end of their life with their best years behind them.
Tribulation right around the corner!
“Which would mean McConnell runs the show and not Trump.”
Well, certainly. Just because McConnell has been up there for decades and is a foremost swamp creature among the other Republican rinos and Trump is new to the job, does not diminish Trump.
“They are still laughing.”
No, they are not. It is no longer news worthy. If they were laughing, it would be.
“And polls continue to show Trump’s support declining.”
Polls show just the opposite.
Do you have a sexual longing for DeSantis? I think most of you DeSantis groupies do.
I think he’s referring to stunts like Graham did, pushing legislation that has no chance of passing and giving the other side ammunition.
Roe v. Wade was overturned primarily because President Trump kept his promises to conservatives.
Why would pro-lifers not support Trump or not bother to show up to vote now? Does anyone really believe this battle is over or that we can leave it to the RINOs to fight for what is right?
