Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Monday shredded the perennially wrong scientist Paul Ehrlich, saying he should be given zero credibility.
Ehrlich, who has consistently failed to predict the end of the world, spoke on “60 Minutes” Sunday and said “The next few decades will be the end of the kind of civilization we’re used to.”
Self-described energy expert Alex Epstein wondered on Twitter why the show featured Ehrlich, “the anti-human ecologist who has been 180 wrong for 55 years??!!”
“Ehrlich despises humanity,” Musk responded to Epstein. “Nothing he says should be given the slightest credibility.”

Every day I like Elon more and more!
I took an easy course in college (early 1970s) called population—based on the “overpopulation” theme of that day.
It was hilariously stupid and wrong then—and now.
My joke—if two people live under socialism the country is overpopulated!
I guess that's the reason Erlich has always bugged me.
Ehrlich may be referring to the WEF and their Great Reset.
Musk is not stupid [yet...].
But he’s so convincing for anyone that has no brain; Greta are listening?
Erloch can eat 💩. 500 insects can’t be wrong.
Ehrlich predictions ...
“On the first Earth Day in 1970, he warned that “in ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct. Large areas of coastline will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish.”
In a 1971 speech, he predicted that: “By the year 2000 the United Kingdom will be simply a small group of impoverished islands, inhabited by some 70 million hungry people.” “If I were a gambler,” Professor Ehrlich concluded before boarding an airplane, “ I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000.”
A butterfly expert actually. So of course he’s taken seriously as an expert on human population.
I didn’t see the ‘60 Minutes’ segment, but I have to almost laugh at the absurdity of their featuring Ehrlich, a guy who’s been spectacularly wrong in his prognostications for 50 years. They may as well have Kyrie Irving on to talk about his flat-earth theories.
He was a God to his followers in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s to the dems in Congress, universities and the CIA with his mantras of too many people alive on Mother Earth.
Zinn. Chomsky. Ehrlich.
Evil clowns. Killer clowns.
Actually your average TRUCK DRIVER has more credibility than Erlich, your AVERAGE TRUCK DRIVER has more knowledge of how many tons of food and materials have to be moved in what time frames than than a BUG DOCTOR!
Of Course in German his name means “honest”.
Ehrlich...
Holmes...
Bankman-Fried....
Let’s just call it “Stanfraud”
LOL, I just thought he was creepy.
Malthus. Wrong then, still wrong.
You’ve got a point!
I wonder if he ever paid off on that bet he lost to Julian Simon....oh never mind.
