Not a credible story.

Word elsewhere is the accuse protests his innocence. He
deserves a speedy and impartial trial. If he’s convicted, hopefully he will be sentenced to death.

100%.
That, or he is possessed. But I’m going for the fake insanity plea.

Put him in the general prison population. It will save the taxpayers a lot of money.

I don’t think Bryan knows Idaho law.

Idaho Statutes. 18-207. Mental condition not a defense — Provision for treatment during incarceration — Reception of evidence — Notice and appointment of expert examiners. (1) Mental condition shall not be a defense to any charge of criminal conduct.

In the old days, he’d have a nice hickory shampoo for making such threats.

I wonder how long until some women start to swoon over the notorious prisoner.

“’Hybristophilia’ is a recognized mental condition where someone—almost always a woman—gets intense sexual arousal from a man who’s committed notorious crimes.”

Two authors of published bestsellers——

Danielle Steel. “She is the bestselling author alive and the fourth-bestselling fiction author of all time, with over 800 million copies sold.” Wikipedia.

Steel met her second husband, Danny Zugelder, while he was serving time in a California prison. After his release in 1973, he briefly moved in with Steel, but returned to prison on new charges shortly thereafter. Undeterred, Steel married him in the prison canteen.

Amy Friedman’s memoir, Desperado’s Wife is a prison love story. On a suggestion by a writing student, Friedman, then a newspaper columnist in her late 30s and an Ivy League graduate, decided to tackle a crusading series about prison life. Little did she suspect she’d become immersed in that life — as the girlfriend and then wife of a charismatic prisoner who also happened to be a murderer and former drug dealer. They were married for seven years during which time he was paroled.

MAR. 24, 2021 article—
How Sara Gruen Lost Her Life The Water for Elephants author’s six-year fight to free an incarcerated man left her absolutely broke and critically ill.
((She had received 60 inmate letters after Reese Wetherspoon appeared in the movie of Gruen’s book. One said he would like to meet her in person someday and how easy it would be to kill her. Another demanded her attention and not getting it he was found dead by suicide.))

Finally Gruen took on the appeals of a murderer, spending thousands on him despite the fact a court appeal ruled him guilty again. She wrote desperately to Gov.Newsom but he did not reply to her. She has what her brother believes is a leftover from cat scratch fever and has gone into decline in her life, broke after a fortune spent on futile appeals for the inmate.

But we are making educated guesses. The police have not said how they got his DNA sample.

Are you attempting to say because of my college major, that Kohberger was going to be a cop because of his major?

I know a bunch of cops. Zero of them have PhDs in Criminology.

Are you attempting to say people interested in LE careers never commit crimes? OMFG, I live near the Golden State Killer.

TBH, I think LE should be a 4 year commitment like the military. “Us vs Them” is the problem.

You’re correct as far as that goes, but in order to home in on K-bugger, they didn’t need his DNA, they only had to get close using DNA of relatives available from commercial sources. I thought I’d read there was some confirmation of that from official sources, but I may have been wrong - still at the very least it’s about as reasonable an educated guess as one is likely to come up with.

I saw a video on A&E about a young man thar murdered somebody and tried to go for the insanity plea. He would act nuts when the cops were in the room and then calm down they were gone. They cops just keot a camera on the guy at all times andvwete able to shred his attempt by playing the video to the jury.

This will not work, if he’s faking it.
