I don’t know all the dirty details but I saw the black clad elements in various videos early on like 1 pm or there after and of course later on.
The flames, the smoke the usual provocateur stuff visible.
In France this happened a lot early on in those Yellow Vests protests to discredit them.
“Governor” Hutchinson should should take a remedial course about the Constitution and the history of its provisions so he could understand what a Bill of Attainder is and why Congress cannot pass one.
He should also try to understand what the difference is between “consent of the governed,” the basis for our Constitution, and “consent of the Governor”, the power that has perverted his mind.
Asa Hutchinson knows that to come out publicly against Trump is political suicide.
I suspect that Hutchinson said these things because the “man behind the curtain” ordered him to.

Exactly the source of my puzzlement. Whatever Donald Trump was or is now, had been part of his character traits long before January 6th, 2021, and the events of that day did not reveal any quirks or idiosyncrasies that were not already present and previously revealed. Donald J. Trump is who he is, one of the most transparent of men ever to occupy the Oval Office. His motives and objectives were neither veiled nor devious, a tremendous departure from the normal sort of affairs of state and personal integrity. But like the force of nature that he is, he could throw an enormous amount of energy in gaining those objectives, often in an uncompromising manner, and that literally frightened many of the denizens of the DC swamp. He was foreclosing many of their options, while making wide, straight and relatively smooth the path to more individual initiative and opportunities for the working people of America.
A Golden Age was at hand, and it was driven into the ground for totally specious reasons and to satisfy many selfish motives, using fraud, deceit, and open chicanery.
I wonder if he’ll do everything in his power to prevent Joe Biden from getting reelected?
