There are no “good guys” in positions of leadership in Russia, Ukraine, or in the West. I cannot refute what you say and feel the same frustration and horror about what we see regardless of all the snarkiness here on FR by people who seem very invested in narrow view of the conflict or have simplified it to “Putin bad”, “Zelensky bad”, or “globalist bad”.
There are a lot of “innocent” people dying and suffering on both sides there who have no animosity towards one another if it were up to them, but its not.
The hypocrisy here in the US over this conflict is staggering and its a nonstop parade of indignant and self-righteous idiots in our government and media decrying what is happening in the Ukraine.
Look at the death, rapes, slave trade, drug trade, and child trafficking happening on our southwest border. You and I don’t support that, but it is still happening in “our name” because those we placed in power want it. Every day people are dying because of this administrations insane “immigration policy”.
The average “Ukrainian” or “Russian” has as much say over the conflict there as we do about our own border crisis.
The Russian propaganda never stops at Armstrong “Economics”.

We probably would learn a bit more about “corruption” but don’t kid yourself that it will all be clean and complete.
The Russians are just as corrupt as the players in the Ukraine so why would they reveal the game when they also seek to play it?
Again, the average Ukrainian or Russian citizen has as much say over what is happening as you and I do over our southwest border. We have our own “death toll” and “engine of misery” happening in our name in our own nation and we are just as powerless to stop it as the regular folks do over there.
