At the moment you die, you go through a particular judgment — and you can see your whole life flash in front of you. It’s not a damnation thing, more a “how you lived your life” thing.
The general judgment is what we all picture in our minds with those people in white robes accompanying Christ to heaven and those left behind are headed foor the netherworld.
