GOP consultant Caroline Wren talks to host Steve Bannon about the battle to unseat Ronna McDaniel as chair of the Republican National Committee. Wren is supporting attorney Harmeet Dhillon for the post.
“The race is heating up… We feel really good. I would say again, it’s just 168 people who get to vote, and the grassroots has stepped up so amazingly… Harmeet’s been flying around and meeting … with these members. and picking up votes constantly. I would argue that we’re in the high 50s, low 60s and we’ve dropped Ronna below that 84 vote threshhold” needed to win.

Why doesn’t anyone think Dhillon will be any better?

The party is Uniparty at the national level, corrupt to the core.
Party is mostly corrupt at the state levels, varying from state to state, with a mixture of uniparty and patriots.
Party is mostly solid at the local levels, with patriots. Except we wield NO clout with our state committeeman/committeewoman jerks that vote.

We have to shake things up despite gleeful clickbait headlines I’ve seen (but didn’t click) that said “GOP Civil War” “GOP Infighting Worsens.”
Other way is a placid pool of stagnant water with a Turtle and some other RINOs floating forever.

Because the current one that is trying for yet another term has mostly been a failure, yet the party doesn't see it that way. It is simply another sign that the GOP is broken, and that the RINOs that have broken the party refuse to give up their power (they control the party even though they aren't the majority in the party).

I have a healthy respect for Harmeet Dhillon. But that wouldn’t necessarily guarantee a successful chairmanship, because she’ll have to deal with the RINO leadership and too many mainstream Republican squishes who do what they can to undermine conservatism.
Good riddance to RR. Too bad she can’t take Mittens with her.
Romney pukes...

Will that solve any problems, probably not!
Yet it is a good start.
The main problem with the GOP is Mitch McConnell and his little army of 21 Rinos and until we get rid of Mitch he will continue to screw us and the country.
There is a way to stop McConnell but it would take at least 2 years.
