How many white people help black people every day and never have a story written about them?
This story is yet another propaganda piece to make black people look superior. Leftist writers constantly pick and choose what they write about so as to show a very bias and racist view of the world. It is not only what they show us but what they ignore that shows their racism.

(Buy weapons and ammo, folks, and have the will to use them.)

These are extraordinary circumstances, so of course it makes the news. There are heroes, white and black, all over this country and I’ve seen tons of stories about both. Ms. Aughtry and her boyfriend saved this mans life. That makes them caring, compassionate individuals, not “superior”.
Just as an aside, this lady lives in the same city that suffered a nasty racial attack against innocent black shoppers in a grocery store.

What a horrible take on a genuinely nice story.

There are many stories published about all types of people helping other people through the blizzard. They're just not posted on this forum. Last night, I posted
this story about a man who broke into a school to save 24 people from freezing to death. He left a note apologizing for the break-in, and he signed it, "Merry Christmas, Jay." The police released a videocam photo to find out who he is - they wanted to thank him. His story and photo went viral with the hashtag "merrychristmasjay." I posted the article that gave the most information, but all the other articles featured his photo.
