Trump Suggests He’d Be Willing to Exercise the Bull Moose Option in Cryptic Truth Social Post
American Tribune ^ | 12/29/2022 | Will (staff)

"The Republican Party of 1912 decided it would be better off renominating William Howard Taft, even though its voters would have preferred another Roosevelt term. The resulting split ushered in Woodrow Wilson and the first academic globalists, whose bright ideas laid the groundwork for a second world war on the eve of the conclusion of the first. ...

But, despite the obvious differences, we’re heading for a 1912-repeat, in which the Republican Party ignores its own voters. The Republican machine has no intention of letting us choose Trump again: He is not a uniparty team player. They’d rather lose an election to the Democrats, their brothers in crime, than win with Trump.

That leads us to the inevitable question: What should we do when a majority of Republicans want Trump, but the Republican Party says we can’t have him?"

Me too. We need someone new. Since when is Gov DeSantis an establishment RINO candidate?

Seriously?

You really cannot be this stupid!

He became the RINO candidate when all of the Globalists and Establishment GOP (you know, the RINOs) lined up behind him as the alternative to President Trump and dumped millions upon millions into his campaign coffers.

Don’t telegraph what you intend to do. Just do it…..

As others have said, Trump might be the last time voting has any chance at all….

The nominee will be chosen in the primaries, not by “the party” in a brokered convention.

The real question is whether Trump would go third party if, a six months or a year from now, he concludes that he’s likely to lose in the primaries against Santos or some other TBD candidate who gets on a roll.

Trump is an out of control ego monster. That’s not going to change. We can do better.

No worries...

When DJT announces JFK, Jr is his running mate that will change everything.

Trust the plan

Given the current state of the GOP party, rudderless and w/o leadership organizing the state GOPs, I see little change for any Republican candidate.

AZ and GA desperately want to vote for Republicans, just not "Trumpy" Republicans. DeSantis easily flips these two states. Additionally, DeSantis follows Glenn Youngkin's battle plan and flips Virginia, where DeSantis' pro-parent policies are widely popular with swing voters (as Youngkin demonstrated).

That's 272 electoral votes and the keys to the White House.

In 2016 the establishment didn’t take him seriously soon enough to stop him. This time he needs to intimidate enough of them to let the voters decide. I don’t think it will work, but time will tell. The establishment is pining for Mitt Romney to run again.

We were out with another couple, the wife said “I voted for Trump twice, I went vote for him a third time”

I said calmly, you will vote for him, you won’t have any choice.

However he has done a lot of self inflicted wounds. Sorry but that’s reality.

Trump’s policies work

His policies are all coming undone. And they're not likely to be re-implemented. Know why?

Okay, the sisters and cheese have been funny. But as a fellow Tennessean I will take pity and clue you in. It means forming a third party like Teddy Roosevelt did in 1912, dividing the Republican vote and giving victory to Wilson:

It's so entertaining when people like you call the man who took on Disney, the woke school boards, homosexual indoctrination of children, shipped illegals to Martha's Vineyard, only to be re-elected in a massive landslide as the "RINO candidate."

Meanwhile, the guy who handed the country over to Dr. Fauci, filled his administration with Deep State swamp creatures, mailed everyone "free" money, banned guns by executive order, endorsed Stacey Abrams for governor, and now throws gay parties at Mar-A-Lago is somehow the "Washington outsider who will drain the swamp."
