How much mRNA is in it? Does it sterilize kids or turn them into transgendered degenerates?

A human-appropriate diet would fix this.

Have you seen what schools feed kids nowadays? And what their parents buy?

Another one of the drugs that have savings and deals for patients with commercial insurance. NO DEALS if you are on MEDICARE. THANK YOUR CONGRESS IDIOTS FOR THAT.

I’m sure Congress gets all these high priced meds for next to nothing, but if you are retired on Medicare NO DEAL. PERIOD.

I spend half hour researching and of course Big Pharma won’t let you learn if mRNA is part of this product.

Gotta hide it.

Seeing this intrigued me about trying to ask for it to lose weight. But seeing that one puts the weight right back on once the drug is stopped reminds me that one has to learn to eat right and exercise, not use pills.

That’s fantastic. I’m stealing it.
I still have He-Man somewhere in a box at my mom’s house.

Um. That’s not entirely true. Yes, manufacturer coupons usually cannot be used with “government” insurance. But government insurance already pays for stuff that commercial insurance doesn’t cover I.e. OTC meds. (aspirin, cetirizine, etc.). But only certain manufacturers. It is all a mess.

Medicare also pays for transgender hormone therapy. So maybe the issue is with “government” insurance.

The fedgov was never supposed to be involved with health insurance.

The only “magic” weight loss product for children is exercise and a low carb, low sugar diet. The magic pill will probably cause problems that will not be known for several years and once discovered you will see the advertisements from the attorneys telling you that if you were prescribed “Wegovy” as a child, then you probably can recover money for your injuries.

According to manufacturer Novo Nordisk, Wegovy (semaglutide) has a list price of $1,349.02 per package. A package is four pre-loaded pens that provide a month’s supply of the medication.

So we're all paying $1,349.02 to provide the drug to anyone for their $15 insurance deductible?

I believe Wegovy use requires scheduled injections into the tummy.
That’s not going to be easy for the average child to tolerate for very long. They may take that to mean they are “sick” with a disease.

that is about what I pay for my jet timeshare per month
(and of course about an extra $1600 per flying hour.)

I am not sure that ins plans would cover it. I suppose that depends on your provider, and if you are private, or public sector

I know a gal who used this drug for weight loss and she looks like a different person. I’m interested but I’ve read there’s a shortage for folks who really need it (not for weight loss) because all the dieters are getting prescriptions.

Unconscionable. Drugs for children?

There’s zero reason for children to get fat. All they have to do is eat right and exercise. Playing outside is usually enough.

Several years ago, I was in a grocery store watching dumbfounded as an obese mom drove her even more obese six-year-old down the aisle in a big cart. Every time he passed jelly or cookies or other fattening junk, he shrieked and she bought two of them. The shrieking never stopped. How about that for conditioning a child to be a failure?

It would take a doctor and three nurses to shove a weight-loss pill down the throats of these morbidly obese people/
