Was that in 1816, they also called it in Europe "the Year without summer". They surmised that it was caused by a huge volcanic eruption in Indonesia.

If this happened this year, but again caused by a massive volcanic eruption, I think the press and politicians would scream that it was caused by Global Climate Change and that all of us should stop heating our homes and not cool them in the summer permanently, resulting in millions of deaths mostly in the nursing homes.

Yes, 1860. Yes, it was called “Year Without Summer.”

You are correct, Mt. Pinatubo is in Indonesia—it had a minor eruption, more or less fooling the local population. Then a major one.

Weather had a similar situation...Very warm start to spring, then snow in summer, a 90 degree day, and more snow.

Recordkeeping not that accurate, but from diaries published, it was very tough slog through that year.

You are correct, they now blame everything on “climate change.” Would seem their agenda is fairly clear.
