Trump is more direct and doesn’t really lie like most politicians who will say anything with glib talk and a smile. It is fact that many if not most politicians are sociopaths. The main hallmark of a sociopath is the ease with which they lie. It tells me Trump is not a sociopath as he is not glib and doesn’t seem to be a pathological liar. In a nutshell, people say they don’t like him because he “doesn’t talk well”—not like practiced statesman. I’ve always seen that as a positive because Trump is giving it straight. Well spoken=crafty liar.

McConnell is bankrolled by the nillionare Craft family who made their money from coal mining, among other things. The family gave money to Trump in 2016 through McConnell so Trump did McConnell return favors like making Elaine Chow head of whatever needless agency she was head of, then made Kelly Craft head of the UN after Haley stepped down. Kelly Craft now wants to run for Gov. of Kentucky. Who do you think she will get to help her? Mitch McConnell and his machine. He has had on every lever.

The nastiest and least respectful moment I have ever seen come out of DC was Nancy Pelosi ripping up Donald Trump’s State of the Union address. I don’t think Mitch uttered a word. Then there was Biden referring to Peter Doocey as a “stupid son-of-a-bitch”.

McConnell is in deep denial about how much he is reviled among the Republican base (outside of KY). He is not just detested on FreeRepublic but at large, at least among conservatives.

I read that McConnell has a 7% favorable rating. He is the most unpopular GOP politician in America. He days in leadership are numbered. Everyone that is not a big time uniparty RINO (like Romney or Linda) hates McConnell.
Amazing isn’t it? The absolute bottom ranking approval rating politician keeps yapping at one of the highest ranked. Up is down, down is up.
Which POTUS, Democrat or Republican, was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:
Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything down and we were in the midst of a V-shape recovery until January 22, 2021;
Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
Got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.
Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's/Biden's Weaponized Agencies? Trump an idiot?
I strongly believe this country deserves the piss poor leadership many US citizens voted for at all levels of government. The US does not deserve a DeSantis or a Trump. Both leaders are too good for the lazy, ignorant, shortsighted, thoughtless Americans. You dear Freeper and your wife are in that category of American.
