There will Never Be a Trial for FTX
Armstrong Economics ^ | 22 Dec22 | Martin Armstrong

You have to understand the way the government prosecutes its cases. If you look closely, all cases are charged with CONSPIRACY. That means the proof is NOT the crime itself, but only an AGREEMENT to commit a crime. Bankman-Fried’s ex-girlfriend, Caroline Ellison, who was also the CEO of Alameda Research, a privately-controlled hedge fund, and Gary Wang, co-founder of FTX, have both pleaded guilty earlier this week, according to newly unsealed court documents. That means the case is already over.

Caroline Ellison and Gary Wang cut deals so they get less time, or even no time, in return for throwing Bankman-Fried under the bus. They would take the stand and will be prepared by the prosecution and artfully say whatever they are instructed to maintain the government’s 99% conviction rate.

With their pleas in hand, in addition to all the press against Bankman-Fried, there is no way he could ever win a trial. His lawyers will be urging him to take a deal. That will be the end result with no trial and no shot of the truth EVER surfacing. All the money laundering from Democrats funding Zelensky, who then in turn handed cash to FTX who then was the 2nd largest donor to the Democrats for the Midterms, will remain hidden from ever gracing the history books without someone doing a FOIA 25 years from now.

One of the few New York Judges who exposed the corruption in the prosecution, Jed S. Rakoff, wrote: Why Innocent People Plead Guilty. They will threaten someone with 25 years in prison. Plead guilty and say what we need you to say, and you will get 5 years or less.

So, any hope that putting Bankman-Fried on trial is a fool’s dream. The whole money laundering scheme with Zelensky funneling cash back to the Democrats will never see the light of a jury.

The ONLY question will be is he too found dead from suicide? This is the same jail where Epstein supposedly committed suicide. This is the same place they tried to kill me, but I survived after being in a coma for several days. High-profile cases NEVER see the light of day – EVER!

Yes, FTX was used by the corrupted little beggar Zelensky to “ repay” the corrupted Biden regime for his billions in hand outs.

Wise up America, you are being played, again.

If the prosecutor takes out his Wang, he won’t have much to show.

It’s amazing how they can constantly concoct new schemes to collect their filthy lucre and corrupt elections.

The Burisma corruption (Biden), the mayor of Moscow, Russia corruption (Biden) and the Uranium One sale corruption (Clinton) all look like kiddie games compared to the FTX corruption.

Yet there is NO Trump corruption to be found anywhere. None.

Two that come to mind that did go to trial: Blagojevich and Leona Helmsley.

I recall reading the brief asking for indictment of Blago. It didn’t list any laws he had broken - it just said he was a bad guy.

In the first trial he was guilty of lying to the FBI (if they interview you long enough, sooner or later you will contradict yourself) then no decision on 23 other counts. Apparently on the retrial they got the jury they wanted and quite a few convictions on the other counts.

We can all vent about the fact that the whole system is rigged, but let’s not use that as a reason to believe every idiot argument promoted by someone just because we think he’s “on our side.”

There may be a hundred reasons, many involving corruption, why the case might not go to trial, but this nonsense is not one of them:

“You have to understand the way the government prosecutes its cases. Bankman-Fried has already flipped on other Crypto criminals. That is why his bail is such a silly charade.

As to political contributions and bribes...

Those will become a prime target for civil lawsuits and civil recovery.

No way that issue will disappear, unless Biden and the Fed agree to make all the financially injured parties whole again.

Yep, the FIBs are some of the biggest crooks out there.

The lesson everyone should have taken from the Martha Stewart case was that you never talk to the FBI.

Innocent folks like to explain themselves (as do the guilty). So they forget two important rules.

1. Do not talk to the police. Nothing you say will help you. You can only hurt yourself if the cops decide to twist your words against you.

2. Especially do not talk to the FBI. All of rule #1 applies. Plus “lying” to the FBI is itself a crime.

Instead be polite, and plead the 5th. It’s in the Bill of Rights for a reason.

A great lecture on this topic from a law professor.

Agree 100%. SBF is an annointed Crony Communist. His contempt for law and order was shown when he flew first class to San Francisco to live under house arrest with his Crony Communist parents.

I walked into my office on a sunny Monday in May 1992, not a care in the world, two FBI agents with guns out were waiting for me.

Long story short - I don’t care how good of a citizen you are, that you love your government and the Constitution, and (most importantly) you have never committed a crime - and they just have one thing they need to clear up about a matter that you actually are knowledgeable about and you could really help them - DON’T DO IT.

It’s tempting, but DON’T DO IT.

By the time they show up, your lines are already in the script.

as usual, “armstrong economics” is completely full of shite ...

the Feds already have guilty pleas from SBF’s two primary co-conspirators along with their full cooperation, so proof of conspiracy is a slam dunk ...

I’d love to hear the full back story on that one. And totally understand why you wouldn’t want to post it here.
