The moron could have just checked his gun. But with that said, I am completely against laws requiring government to check and/or limit where you can carry a weapon.

Jars of peanut butter stashed in a traveler’s checked luggage at a New York City airport triggered an alarm
= = =
Nope.
It was the x-ray showing gun parts that triggered the alarm.
We can still carry food, for now.
In the future, food smuggling or possession will be banned.

Hmmmm! I wonder if it would cause a “jam”? Get it? 😁👍. “ Hey, you got bullets in my peanut butter!”. “Hey, you got peanut butter on my bullets!”. Done!

They removed two jars of JIF creamy peanut butter from the luggage, each of which contained pieces of a dismantled semi-automatic handgun “artfully concealed inside,” the agency stated."You got German Luegers in my peanut butter!"
"You got peanut butter in my German Luegers!"
Two great tastes that go great together!

Whenever I travel to the UK I always pack enough Jif and Miracle Whip to last me for my 2 or 3 weeks.
Coming back I pack all the Red Leicester and Double Gloucester cheese that I can.

You don’t accidentally put ammo in peanut butter.

The person checking the weapon must also have a proper permit. False. Only in a very few states does a person need a permit to own a firearm.

The Computed Tomography X-Ray (CTX) no doubt showed a difference in the consistency of the peanut butter and the density of the gun/ammo parts. Stupid ass.

Of course it was creamy peanut butter, the chunky stuff could have caused the weapon to jam!
