They’re leaving “wind” out of the equation...
I hate that “wind chill” or, as Accuweather calls it, “Real Feel.”
Who cares about that squishy number? I’m all bundled up and only my cheeks get the wind chill. Besides, there’ll often be no wind here, so there’s no wind chill. Or we’ll get a howler and the wind chill is far lower than what AccuWeather says.
Just give me the plain old, unvarnished, honest air temperature.
The funny thing is that the wind chill they report makes it seem far colder than it really is which runs contrary to their Global Warming / Earth On FIRE!! hysteria.
Sure makes a difference when heating a home, that's for sure. I think it's easier to heat a house when it's 20 below with no wind chill effect then it's equivalent of 5 above with a 30 MPH wind. Feels that way, too!
