Yes. Trump made mistakes, some major, true. But he is a whole lot better than Biden or Harris or Newsome! I will not give up my Republican status just yet until we see what happens with the elections in 2024 or unless the Dems and RINOs make some really big move to end elections period and we know they just might try. We all know they are going after Trump to try to make it impossible for him to run. If they take him out that way....I may just give up my Republican party.

I will be the one in the camps laughing at the GOPee officials as they’re brought in screaming, “But we worked with you guys!”

Like the Jews who killed Rumkowski, the head of the Łódź Judenrat, before the Nazis could get to him.

Ummm, I’d be just as much a prisoner in those camps. With my politics, I certainly wouldn’t be one of the functionaries.

But I’d still laugh at the GOPee prisoners . . . right before I’m shot.

From one Bob to another, I think of my children & grandchildren also.

The Republican Party has been the slow boat to China for decades now, and yet we are still heading to China, are we not?

They had the perfect chance to win in the midterm elections, and to take back both Houses of Congress, as well as, many state legislatures and Sec. of State offices. They chose not to become more powerful & to remain the minority party.

If you can't see that they sabotaged the midterm elections, just as they sabotaged Trump's reelection in 2020, then brother Bob, I don't know what will make you see that reality. They do nothing to fix elections either, have you noticed? Why is that? Is it because they want to be able to rig elections? Ifs it because they are afraid? Also, notice that they never like the candidates the base likes. Without even seeing how they would carry out their job, they reject them without consideration. Why is that? After all, the candidates that we allowed them to select for us certainty weren't very good, for they got as to where we are today.

Do what you must do, but Like me, you will come to see the reality that I now know, & thus can no longer make arguments as to why the Republican Party is to be supported by loyal members of the base.

I've stayed with the Republican Party in hopes of changing it. If more people got involved in their local Republican Party, and made changes at their respective local levels, that change might actually occur.

If I were a few years younger, and in much better health, that is where I would seek to invest my energies.

Just casting votes will accomplish nothing positive, because voting has become nothing more than a charade anyway. The democrats are always allowed to count every vote, contest elections or whatever, but not the Republicans, and the Republicans do not one thing to rectify the charade and restore voting integrity back into the voting process.

I think the Lord is the only one who can change things. I believe in the power of the Lord, and that his power must be expressed & embraced by every conservative who wants to defeat evil. Until them, we are wasting our efforts, engaging in insanity, and becoming insane in the process.

You see, I haven't stopped fighting against the forces of evil, I have changed how I have decided to fight evil.

Just my opinion.

Becoming an Independent depends a lot upon on how your state holds their primaries..

Louisiana does not conduct true primary elections. Instead, the state employs a majority-vote system. If a candidate receives a majority of the votes cast for an office, he or she wins outright. If, however, no candidate reaches that threshold, a second round of voting is held between the top two vote-getters. Any registered voter can participate in both the first-round and second-round elections.

Thus if someone else runs against Sen. Bill Cassidy on the Republican ticket, I will vote for that person, unless I know something objectionable about that person also. Then I won't cast a vote in that election at all.

There is no replacing them. When the election comes up my choice is the incumbent Republican or the Democrat. The Incumbents win in the primaries because of name recognition and ignorance amongst the electorate. This is why they are seldom replaced.

Also, my voting history is horrid. Four of the Reps who voted for the omnibus spending bill were people I voted for in the past. I thought they were all true Conservatives by the things they said....and did back then. I also voted for the Bushes and others who are showing their true colors now.

So how do we replace them when the candidates lie and tell us what we want to hear to get elected?

Which is why I'm pretty much at the point of not bothering to vote anymore. What's the point? Even if your guy wins, he'll just be "assimilated".

It took me decades to come to the realization that I have no representation in Washington (or elsewhere, for that matter).

I guess that’s why they’re called politicians.

And what are you and we going to do when they take your savings, housing and any other assets for the common good and take your grand kids for the state and subject them to reeducation? (rhetorical questions)

Let me make one thing clear Bob. I will continue to vote for Republicans who are worth voting for.

What I will no longer do is vote for Republicans simply because they are Republicans. I also will no longer send any money to the RNC, RNCC, or RNSC. I will send funds directly to candidates.

I don’t see how Trump can win when there are so many forces against him. It’s hard to win normally, but when cheating is thrown in, it seems impossible.

The mass public don’t care about the possibility of corruption, as long as they feel good and are provides for by government. And the MSM provides them with lies & fear to keep them placated and feeling good.

With the Democrats, NeverTrumpers, Wall Street, Big Business, the universities, BLM, RINOs, DOJ, FBI, CIA, the Pentagon, the military, the courts, IRS, BLS, CDC, and every other government agency against Trump... running seems like it a waste of time. And then there were people who thought the red wave would crush the Democrats.

“Mr Smith goes to Washington”, is a dream put out by people who specialize in dreams.

So can the people ever return to the constitution? Can America be what it was meant to be or has it always been this way? Has it always been this way without us knowing about it? Maybe there was never a golden age?

I say Trump has a chance against incredible odds, but he has to have a fair election. As Stalin says: “it’s not about the number of votes but the people who count them.”

“I also will no longer send any money to the RNC, RNCC, or RNSC. I will send funds directly to candidates.”

That one I agree with, although I never sent a dime to the party.

As to not voting for squishy Republicans, never forget that if not for the RINOs, the Democrats would have REJECTED all three of Trump’s Supreme Court justices, and virtually every conservative lower court judge.

So I will ALWAYS vote for the R on the ticket because those judges are the people who determine whether we become another Soviet Union or not...much more so than even the people we vote for.
