Worried? No.
But anyone not prepared for this one is a fool.
We’re at the very beginning of this mess - we’ve got about 4” on the ground so far but no bad winds, yet.
My Propane Guy was just here to top off our tank - I could’ve kissed him, but that would’ve been weird, LOL!
We did wish each other a Merry Christmas. He lived on this farm as a kid, so he takes good care of us. Not everyone sucks, which we need to make note of on a daily basis. :)
i drove through an area after superstorm sandy (Which dropped a tree on our house- had to replace a section of hte roof- thankfully noone was hurt) and i was in the mountains where a small stream to the right of the road- about 40 feet down, rose up over the road and woudl have submerged any cars o n the road totally- a fella put the waterline on his retaining wall, and it was like 8 feet high- That stream, 40 feet below the road rose almost 50 feet- the road was just starting to drop down to the town down below the mountain, which was really devastated badly- it was a wicked storm-
I drove aroudn our town, and wow- trees down everywhere- roads washed out- Even the throughway got washed out in one spot- huge crater- was quite a mess-
