Putin wants to erase Ukraine and and recreate the Russian empire. He and his surrogates (Russian state TV, etc.) has said so plainly many times. How do you negotiate from that starting point? You can’t. Russian irredentism must be defeated due to its violent nature and Anti Americanism. The longer we take to do that the more people will die needlessly.

Regime change is not the goal and no one in America has said it is.
We haven’t even clearly supported removing Russia from all of Ukraine.

Tucker has created a strawman. If Zelensky wants to see Putin gone, that is only natural but it is not American policy.

Tucker is particularly dishonest when he won’t say the words “Russian Orthodox Church”.

Telling the audience that Ukraine has launched a “war on Christianity” is simply a lie. Banning the ROC is an interesting issue, but Tucker obviously would not name the church because the word “Russian” would tip off viewers to the reason for the ban. That was just plain deceptive by Tucker.
