(((YAWN))) Politicians are so boring these days.
He's waiting to see what committee assignments he gets. He'll still vote for DemocRAT leadership, though, so it doesn't matter if he becomes yet another 'independent' DemocRAT like Bernie and Angus King.
It gets old listening to him talk about being an “independent voice” for the people of West Virginia, while continually support the Biden puppeteers/Democrat party policies.
If he as truly independent as he claims, he’d dump the Democrats and start supporting his constituency.
But he’s not . . .
If he jumps to Republican then it’s going to be nuts for Schumer. All that voter fraud for nothing.
Whore says what?
isn’t his wife on Joe’s payroll? he’s not going anywhere. $$$
He knows the Democrats will try to unseat him.
If he can cut a deal with McConnell for re-election support, then he should do it.
He can’t be tired of being treated like a Hillbilly Bitch. Break out the Jug Band.
Holding out to the highest bidder, are we?
“He is just waiting for another check to shut him up.”
Exactly. He’s a prostitute negotiating price.
Sellers remorse. He realizes he went too cheaply the last time and is now taking bids.
That guy has perfected the art of collecting protection money from the Democrat leadership. You almost have to admire his sorry zzz. 😄
“I’m not a Washington Democrat.”
Well then quit voting like one!
Yep! He ain’t going nowhere. People are delusional. Money speaks louder and this evil power money-hungry POS is just waiting for the highest bidder. He loves to have everybody eating out of his palm. And since the red wave did not materialize, this guy has more power in his little pinky then both chambers. He Knows that his reelection is assured 100%. He’s making fools of everyone who think he’ll be switching parties or go independent. He’s playing the grifter game and waiting on some serious $$$$ be deposited in his checking account.
In other words, I will leave the Democratic Party at the most lucrative time.
We don’t want him. We can get a REAL Conservative in 2024.
He's been answering the question as if he were giving it some serious thought.

I’m guessing (hoping?) that he will switch right after the new Congress is seated.
