The flu season is off to an alarming start. Hospitalizations from influenza are at their highest levels in the last decade, and case counts are rising across the country. Meanwhile, vaccination rates have fallen well below historical trends. This, plus a surge of other respiratory viruses, has contributed to what some are calling a pediatric care crisis in many parts of the country.
Thankfully, some members of Congress are taking long-overdue action to improve the way our country prepares for and responds to seasonal and pandemic flu.
Public health experts typically look to the Southern Hemisphere for a signal of what America’s influenza season will entail. This past summer, Australia’s season was both early and severe: Between May and July, weekly flu cases exceeded the country’s five-year average and sick leave rose 50 percent. Young children were most at risk, with the highest case rates among those ages five through nine, followed by children ages four and younger.
Unfortunately, we are seeing the same patterns play out in the U.S. Official estimates show that in the early months of the 2022-23 flu season, there have been at least 15 million illnesses, 150,000 hospitalizations and 9,300 deaths from flu. Tragically, this includes 30 pediatric deaths.

When he lost his Senate seat he lost his marbles and ended up having a nervous breakdown. He’s the real architect of Obamacare. Ya, I’m going to listen to this clown.
* snicker *
Agree.
Or at least create a national exposure registry, or limit our influenza varieties to only the mild ones.
So is any factual info in the article he wrote...
States are asking for federal funding to help fight the flu.
Expect this to become an annual exercise of feeding at the trough.
The government IS the Typhoid Mary that won’t stay out of America’s kitchen.
Another loser from the past.
Or at least send it a strongly worded letter.
It’s the booster addicts around me who I see deteriorating—cancers, heart attacks, strokes, “died suddenly,” and just looking and acting older and more fragile. Also, it seems like many people are “foggy” mentally. Can’t quite describe it, but somehow “not there.” (This is particularly noticeable with servers, clerks, etc.)
Those who stopped after the first one or two when they first came out, are — so far anyway — doing fine.
I thank the Lord multiple times a day that I knew immediately that there was no way in Hell I was going to put this poison in me.
Sod off, Dasch-hole.
LOL!! Well played, as they say these days ...
But there are some who think little of him.
Stay out of it Congress.
The AMA? ROFLMAO
I thank the Lord daily that I was surrounded by friends, family, coworkers, and my wife who is now a retired nurse who all spotted the red flags when the “vaccines” were foisted on an unsuspecting public.

I wish that I could say the same, but I know people and have close family members who never have been the same since the day they received their first vaccination. But I agree that those who have gone in for booster after booster are typically doing worse. These are the people who have been sick with Covid or God knows what else over and over again.
I try to avoid being around people who have been vaccinated as much as possible. This is because after close contact my wife and I typically feel a little under the weather for a day or two. We assume that it may be from the “spike proteins” that they are shedding or maybe it is just that their compromised immune systems have made them incubators for disease. I do not know, but there have now been too many examples to ignore.
I have one friend who has always been a bit of a hypochondriac but extremely health conscience and active. He was always very proud of his looks as a middle-aged man. I saw him at a retirement party recently and it was shocking. I barely recognized him. He is in his late 60s but now looks more like he is in his 80s. And this is no exaggeration.
I recently noticed this “rapid aging” effect at church. One of our pastors, in his late 60s and previously overweight but otherwise fine, can now barely get up/down the steps to the altar. Members of the music group, all of whom are in their 50s and are known “booster fans,” look years older, have lost too much weight, and move like they’re elderly. Also, people don’t seem to be “all there” mentally. Hard to quantify, but very apparent.
Yes, my daughter, sister-in-laws, brother, sisters, mother, father, and many other relatives, friends and acquaintances... have lost significant amounts of weight. Most were pudgy to begin with, so they have mostly been delighted and they try to attribute it to something that they have done and not the shots. But my wife and I realized that the cause of the weight loss of those we see often has not been a change in their diet or exercise habits. We attribute it to the vaccines and in the case of those who are elderly it has not been helpful to their appearance. They just look frailer. It is also likely not helpful to their health or longevity.
