I’ve heard that in California (perhaps in other states too), all one needs in order to register to vote is a valid drivers license. Is that true? Is it illegal to ask one’s citizenship status? if so, then who knows how many people illegally vote.

In our small town of 700 people, there’s a van that pulls into the country store in the morning. About 15 illegals pop out, go in, buy their stuff, and get back in the van and leave. I’m assuming it belongs to the Bonnie Plant Farm that’s based in Maine but we have greenhouses here In NH.
