Yeah, I’m not sure announcing that you are trying to commit criminal extortion on national television is a smart move, but it’s a move Jack Sweeney made on Saturday evening.
Sweeney is the ridiculous clown behind the “ElonJets” harassment campaign. The site bypasses privacy filters on the ADSB tracking of Elon Musk’s private jets in order to expose his location. That recently led to Musk’s son being attacked by what most believe to have been a member of Antifa.
While on CNN, Sweeney told the host (admittedly, I have no idea who he is and don’t care) that he would stop what he’s doing in exchange for $50,000 or a new Tesla.

I mean, that’s a bold strategy. I guess we’ll find out how it works for him, but it does reveal exactly the kind of person Musk is dealing with. This isn’t someone who even believes he’s providing a public service, though it would have been hard to imagine an argument for that anyway. Rather, it’s an obsessed leftwinger harassing Musk just for the sake of harassing him. Actually, now that I said that out loud, it’s not really surprising at all.

It would be nice if now the guy would be arrested and prosecuted for extortion, because doing so might help to clear up the rest of the misbehaving lefties, because I assure you that this goes far beyond one guy wanting a car!

The question is, who will prosecute a Woke reporter attacking the fiend who is trying to bring free speech back to a world that hates it?
Musk cannot give in because, even if this kid was paid off and really did stop, it’s not complicated for somebody to keep showing Musk’s flights.
The world already is a better place because of Musk buying Twitter. On the one hand I feel like the left can’t let any victory stand, but on the other hand do elites, or anyone really, want to live in a world with no privacy?

on the other hand, worldwide FakeNewsMSM has almost totally ignored all revelations in the Twitter drops about the DS and Twitter (plus the implications for the rest of social media & the MSM) regarding election interference & attempts to destroy Trump, whilst continuing to attack Musk on a daily basis.

I guess privacy is the other precedent (in addition to extortion) that elites don’t want set, thus Musk is suing instead of there being a criminal prosecution.
The left can’t let the extortion suffer a precedent defeat because “no justice, no peace” and the reparations movement.
Technology is a tsunami.
Doxxing has only ONE PURPOSE - to promote STALKING which is a crime under both state and federal laws.
Stalkers are dangerous. Anyone who stalks you is a potentially violent menace which is why stalking laws were passed.
This doxxing epidemic is yet another example of the complete lawlessness of the Left. I believe this treating of dangerous conduct as “fun and games” is going to lead to a violent upheaval in America as decent people get completely fed up with deliberate and widespread anarchy by these sick criminals.

Suing people instead of criminal prosecution presupposes that you have the resources to hire a lawyer. The reason why we have criminal law is because most people can’t afford to do that.
