President Biden’s border insanity isn’t just killing migrants and US law enforcement officers; it’s killing kids and destroying families via the massive inflow of drugs the White House has invited.
Title 42 — a Trump-era rule and one of the few brakes on our current massive migrant inflows — will expire this week. That’s going to supercharge illegal migration, and with it the deadly movement of fentanyl over our southern border.
The White House silence on this issue is deafening. Last week, a group of Republican lawmakers sent a blistering letter to the president demanding a meeting on the fentanyl crisis. The letter, signed by Jim Banks (R-Ind.), Chip Roy (R-Texas) and others, highlights the appalling fact that Biden has been playing dumb on a previous request sent in October (doubtless to avoid bad press before the midterms) and that more than an estimated 7,500 Americans have died from fentanyl-related causes in the intervening weeks.

Taking fentanyl or any non-prescribed drug is a CHOICE. Bad choices can have bad outcomes.

Let X be the number of Democrats who will die from fentanyl.
Let Y be the number of illegals who will eventually vote Democrat.
The Democrat leadership has determined that Y will be greater than X.

A 40-year-old might be wise enough to question what’s in the blunt. But a 20-year-old, not so much.

I am 65. I can still remember reading the Milestones entry in Time magazine that reported on the death of Lenny Bruce. In that entry I saw the word "heroin" in print for the first time. I recall asking my mother how to pronounce it and what it meant. She explained opium and opium derivatives and gave me a clear sense that this was a very dangerous substance, something to avoid. I would have been 9 years old at the time. Nothing has ever changed my initial understanding of heroin, or the newer opioids that are being abused.
What in the world are kids being taught - or not being taught that makes them susceptible to even considering opioids?

Joe Biden can do whatever he wants. At least with Obama, there were some checks on his powers. But I am not seeing that with Biden. Other than a bone from the SCOTUS with Roe vs Wade issue. To be honest with you, they did not do us favors with the timing because that may have motivated the Democrats to turn out their base and that may have saved the Senate for them.
Makes you wonder if you'll ever eat takeouts or in restaurants safely at the rate the border is allowing so many in.

Every teen is stupid. And every teen is susceptible to peer pressure. Some much more than others, of course. I cringe at the poor (and dangerous) decisions that I made when I was young. I bet you do, too.
This is not to excuse away those poor decisions. Once you reach the age of maturity, you are ultimately responsible for your own actions.
I’m not arguing that drug users are innocent victims, because they are not. Instead I’m arguing that the evil is not within them. It’s within the drug smugglers. Hang them, just like Singapore does.

Yes, I got drunk. There were times I was stupid enough that did not know how I got home the previous night. And had I killed myself or others, it would have been on me.
I don't believe there are many kids over twelve who are not aware that drugs can be deadly. Everything I found was about age group 18-45. If the teen (13-17) deaths were substantial you bet they'd be commenting upon that too.
Progressive? Wrong. Progressives want straight and normal people dead. I want people to be normal and behave according to the laws of the land. If they kill themselves through their behavior, they’re cleaning up the gene pool.
