Steve Bannon fed up with Trump’s latest stunts: ‘I can’t do this anymore’
NY Post ^ | 12/16/22 | Lee Brown

Even Steve Bannon and other key advisers to former President Donald Trump have had enough of his latest stunts — demanding everyone behind his wacky NFT collection be “fired today.”

“I can’t do this anymore,” an exasperated-sounding Bannon said Thursday on his show, “The War Room,” when discussing the widely derided collection the 45th president launched the previous day.

“For 2024, I hope he stays in FL. He is needed there. He’s gotta demonstrate he understands MAGA. Not just as a beneficiary of the Lockdown caused Red Voter migration to FL.”

DeSantis will be leaving the state in good hands.

The migration into Florida was a very minor part of DeSantis’ big victory.

There was a purpose to the foil of the trading card sideshow, IMHO.

However, on this thread I will leave it at that, as there would be a howl otherwise. Sad day on FR, devolved into never-trumpers and sunshine-trumpers, deep state Ukraine supporters.

Nobody else in politics could sell these cards that everyone is all wound up about.
It’s working.

Explain your foil and how it benefits Trump. I am pro Trump, but I don’t get this one at all.

I agree. I supported Trump, and want him for 2024. But...the trading card thing was a disappointment. Trump said there was a “major” announcement coming. The border has crumbled, the economy is in shambles, the Omnibus needs to be defeated, we’re stumbling toward WWIII with Russia, etc.

So, the reaction is understandable having been told a “major” announcement was coming. Instead of some major lawsuit, or an address on these issues, we get stinking trading cards. Trump stepped on his own messaging. He needs to trade the person who sold him on this communication plan.

I do wonder if his heart is really in this.

I don’t know how to explain without sabotaging this post, so I’ll just pose two things to get you oriented:

1. TRUMP CARD coming. (4/20/18)

2. At what stage in the game do you play the TRUMP CARD? (3/3/19)

And which no one is really paying attention to the 2nd announcement, which had far more substance to it.

Blame Trump for that.

His big tease was "AMERICA NEEDS A SUPERHERO!"

How come only our side gets held to any standards?

EXACTLY!

Selling things to people who voluntarily pay for them is somehow immoral. At the same time, it is perfectly fine to accept millions of dollars in "speaking fees" or "consulting fees" from entities you enriched when you controlled the distribution of public funds.

This double standard is disgusting and it is very disheartening to see our side fall for the brainwashing.

You won’t find an earlier and more strident supporter of Trump, from 2015 to 2022, than me.

But Trump has really gone off the deep end lately. Steve Bannon was his number-one guy for the entire campaign, and Trump even lost HIM!

The thing I’ve noticed about Trump is that, since he had a lot of involvement the World Wrestling Entertainment group, that he brings from it a lot of Smash Mouth tendencies and a lot of WWE promotion techniques.

If you look at Trump through the prism of Professional Wrestling, lots of what he does makes a lot more sense. It puts in perspective the combative Tweets and the shameless hucksterism. It’s not presidential, not even slightly, but it’s what he knows.

Yeah, why would sitting incumbent President Trump need some better advice for how to hold the white house through the next election.

The 2 quotes he posted containing the phrase “Trump Card” are from Q posts on the dates listed. He seems to be trying to imply that Q predicted Trump Digital trading cards back in 2018 and 2019.

i’m personally embarrassed I questioned the fox’s motives.

You should be. I realized years ago that President Trump is playing on a higher level with more intelligence than any of us will ever comprehend. It's kind of like a gnat trying to understand a horse's rear end. That's why I have a cardboard cutout of 45 by my front door that I salute at least once a day. I've already ordered several action figures that should complement my lifesize version very nicely.

Fake news. Out of context.

I watch this show. When Steve Bannon expressed disdain for President Trump’s silly trading card stunt, he was literally in the middle of shouting his praises from the rooftops regarding an important policy announcement, which Bannon called profound and far-reaching.

FR has become a repository for the Left’s out-of-context headlines, a haven for trolls, and a magnet for clueless FReepers who swallow the troll bait - hook, line and sinker.

Thank you!

Works for me.
The guy is making money on the cards that he will spend in his campaign.

When the dems and the swamp monsters squeal, he gets to discuss the truly, truly disgusting ways they raise their money.

Only Trump would do this…if anything, he is an original.

This way he has of getting attention good or bad, has worked for him his whole life.

If he wins the nomination, I will vote for him.
