Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Belarus on Monday for talks with his counterpart and ally Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarus leader’s office said.
The Belarus presidency said Friday the pair will hold discussions at the Independence Palace, Lukashenko’s office, in Minsk during Putin’s “working visit”.
-snip-
Minsk said the pair will hold one-on-one talks as well as wider negotiations with their ministers on “Belarusian-Russian integration”.

“Belarusian-Russian integration”.
I wonder if they will literally put a gun to his head, or just pay him off?
Tsar Mussolini’s only friend left?
LOL it must be lonely being an anti-human monster
“I wonder if they will literally put a gun to his head, or just pay him off?”
Or perhaps blow up the gas pipeline that goes to Belarus.
If Yanukovych is put into power he’d going to burn down Kiev
I’d keep an eye out for flights from Berlin to Moscow, myself.
I wonder if they will literally put a gun to his head, or just pay him off?
It’s pretty interesting that man who is about to die from various forms of cancer, who recently fell down some stairs and soiled himself, is now traveling to another country.
Putin will be taking his butt pillow with him on the trip.
Not Good—They be planning something and it aint good for Ukraine or the west.
Gene Hackman in the brown coat.
Yo dufus, they are allies
A strong Russian leader would order Lukashenko to come to him in Moscow. Putin going to Belarus would have been seen as a sign of weakness during Soviet times. It’s all about optics.
Could be worse, he could have Trudeau’s friends.
Poland is mobilizing troops on a large scale currently. One wonders if they are wanting their old territory back. Belarus is also active with their troops, looking more defensive in operation. Hard to get legit numbers, but Russia has a pretty considerable force staged in Belarus at the moment. Looking like Russia is about to split Eukraine from the back of the Eukrainian forces and end it. The other massing of Russian forces along key areas of the boarder, would indicate that it’s about go time. This month or next, who knows?
Comrade Putin twisting Comrade Lukashenko’s fat arm...
Nailed it!
Putin poisoned Lukashenko’s #2 guy a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if Yanukovych is at the meeting on Monday.
