If they did this based on professionalism they would be coming out now trying to make amends. However, none to my knowledge has recanted and tried to make things “right”.
Moreso the culpable media has not done anything to make amends.
We had to endure the "media" instructing on how "Free Speech" can harmful and must be regulated.
Mostly to defend the gub'mint & twitter collusion to suppress our rights.
A few "journalists" get a temp ban for doxing and they're threatening congressional hearings.
More like fact deniers than fact checkers.
The salient point about the letter, is that it was written and signed/endorsed by “51 former ‘intelligence’ officials of the federal government” in the first place. Try finding another time in our election history when a letter of this magnitude was offered, not solicited, to support one presidential candidate.
And how nice for Newsweek to voluntarily “fact check” the claims regarding the letter. Maybe Newsweek should have done it’s own investigation of the laptop from hell, along with a “fact check” of the letter and Joe Biden’s use of it.
With less than three weeks until the Republicans take control of HoR, they’ve added themselves to the list of other MSM outlets circling the wagon for the Bidens and this group of 51 former ‘intelligence’ officials . . .
