New York CNN — Twitter on Thursday evening banned the accounts of several high-profile journalists from top news organizations without explanation, apparently marking a significant attempt by new owner Elon Musk to wield his unilateral authority over the platform.
The accounts belonging to CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, The New York Times’ Ryan Mac, The Washington Post’s Drew Harwell and other journalists who have covered Musk aggressively in recent weeks were all abruptly permanently suspended. The account of progressive independent journalist Aaron Rupar was also banned.

CNN writes a story about CNN being banned from Twitter! Sweet!! propagandists should be dealt with much more harshly than just being banned from Twitter. Oughta be behind bars

Elon uses the FAA PIA privacy program for a private plane ID. When using a PIA address, the owner is anon and private, not public. Sweeney’s workaround is (likely) to spot a (rare) ICAO plane resembling Musk’s & noting the private code.

Typical CNN lie. Musk explained why. They were giving real time location information about Musk’s kid - in direct violation of Twitter’s rules.
Leftists are of course outraged to learn the rules now apply to them too - for the first time in years and years.
CNN is the only group on Earth paying attention to the news who doesn’t know why they were banned?

They already have a place to express their views... It’s called the ‘newspaper’ that they work for.

Musk should ban every user who has claimed to be a journalist, in the past, for a year. 90% of journalists are democrats. I think this would only be fair.
