JFK visited Nashville where I saw him at Vanderbilt stadium. There are photos showing his motorcade on Nashville’s narrow Church Street in an open car and looking very exposed and vulnerable. President Jack was no coward but he was also reckless in his affairs with Marilyn Monroe, Mary Meyer, et al and his love for appearing reachable while campaigning. He admired Ian Fleming’s James Bond character and read Fleming’s books as they were published. He liked brushes with such danger. In Dallas he forbade agents from riding on the exterior steps of his Lincoln.

It appeared that the shady character of Jack Ruby gave credence to some conspiracy and an organized effort to silence Oswald. But when one looks at the details of Ruby’s life, character, his lifelong friendship with champion boxer and war hero Barney Ross, then Ruby appears less of a likely paid hit man.

What you believe and what the evidence points to are different things.

Just a few facts:

• The Warren Report was a rushed job pushed through on a timeline to ensure LBJ's reelection.

• Oswald would've have to had left the Texas schoolbook building almost immediately after the shooting, caught two different buses with almost no waiting and walked in a different direction to catch the second bus to meet the arrest timeline.

• Nobody who served with him in the USMC can remember his being an even mediocre marksman, much less the expert required to produce the "magic" bullet which assassinated JFK.

• No expert marksmen have ever been able to reproduce nearly anything remotely close to the shooting results.

• J. Edgar Hoover himself declared the evidence against Oswald very weak until a mysterious phone call from LBJ the Saturday after which he did a 180.

• JFK's body was tampered with, contrary to a Texas state law requiring an autopsy for murders and the presidential limo (crime scene) was immediately shipped off for total overhaul.

• Fake secret service agents immediately descended on Delany Plaza to confiscate evidence from tourists who had snapped photos of the motorcade in that area.

• The Warren Report either airbrushed over or completely ignored this series of strange coincidences.
