I think you miss the point of my post. I'm well aware the term, "conspiracy theory/-ist," was coined to marginalize people as kooks. It's a term I embrace, certainly with regard to the JFK assassination. It's why I have come to use the term, "coincidence theorist," as a counter to the bias and derogatory connotations implied by the term, "conspiracy theorist."

My point is, the information that has been released really leaves any thinking person with a binary choice regarding JFK:

1. Accept that there was a conspiracy and more than one person involved.

2. Explain away all the coincidences as mere coincidence.

The more one digs into the events surrounding the killing and the people involved, the harder it is to explain things as coincidence and people who continue to cling to explaining things through an increasingly unlikely series of happenstance are, IMHO the real kooks (aka "coincidence theorists.")

The other big thing that is a barrier to true investigation is the “government would never do that” idea.

Just look at how seemingly unrelated people and agencies colluded to get rid of Trump, without visible command structure or instructions.

Then rethink JFK.
