The people of China, Iran, etc... have the same God-given rights as you do. Ask yourself why they aren't as free to protect or express themselves as you are.
I am taking about the existence of rights.
The Supreme Court made this abundantly clear nearly one hundred years after the adoption of the Second Amendment: “[t]his is not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence. The Second Amendment [simply] declares that it shall not be infringed …” See: United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542, 533 (1876).
Same with the other rights.
Gohmert has conditioned Constitutional guarantees on teaching and learning. Until he clarifies his mush mouth syntax, he's guilty of conditioning rights on the NEA and children's capacity to learn, too.
It sounds like Gohmert needs speech or cognitive therapy.
