A video clip is going viral of psychologist and author Dr. Jordan Peterson telling Sky News Australia’s Rita Panahi about why a totalitarian social credit system is much more likely than we think.
Peterson said it is “highly probable” that Western countries will usher in an automated social credit system without anyone even noticing, and it will be accepted because people yearn for safety and convenience.
“Do you think what we did during COVID could usher in our version of a social credit system?” Panahi asked Peterson.
“Oh yes, definitely. That’s highly probable,” Peterson answered without hesitation.
Panahi, who now looked utterly terrified, went on to ask, “And that it will be accepted by many people because of that yearning for safety?”
“They won’t even notice it. You can’t believe how much people don’t know,” Peterson stated.
“People have no idea. It’s like, ‘Well, why not have a digital passport?’ I mean, how convenient. And it’s like, fair enough, you can understand that. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could pay for everything with our phones? It’s like, wouldn’t it be nice if the central government — who is woke-oriented and makes carbon dioxide remediation the priority — knows exactly what you spend on everything so they can target you tax-wise with precision?” he added.
“You just cannot imagine how screwed you are. It’s way worse than anything Kafka ever imagined, because at least with Kafka there were bureaucrats, faceless though they may have been, they’re human. Once the machines can lock you out, oh, you are in such trouble. And we’re speeding towards that with an immense lack of care.”

She doesn’t look shaken. Or even stirred.
Digital slavery is the future.
he aint wrong
I’m going to take the social credit fascist machine run system. ‘Cause I don’t like trading cards [pout].
Rest assured some day that too will go the way of S & H Green Stamps.
Where’s the “it’s digital” lady?
In people run systems, people are the weak link. No matter how sociopathic a person might be, he eventually gets tired of brutalizing another human being. He will start to look the other way or start to back off more and that eventually brings an end to a system.
Not so with machines. Machines will perform the same movement everytime without tiring. Even if that means that 1 person at a time, until all 8 billion people are killed, machines don’t tire.
She didn’t look “absolutely terrified” to me. She just seems to naturally have a surprised-looking demeanor.
It's like we're becoming giant cockroaches...
Machines making paper clips?
I only got a 90 day warrantee on a microwave. They must be real confident in its longevity.
I love Rita Banahi. I listened to most of this interview. Jordan Peterson is extremely interesting and intelligent, but I don’t agree with him on everything. He is not a Christian just like Russell Brand so he’s coming from a different POV on the important stuff. They are both right on many things, just have a different take on where we are ultimately headed.
Great interview. Long, but worth the time.
Panahi
People program machines so there are definitely holes in them.
What is it with all these people named Jordan Petersen? Hasn’t there been a half dozen or so killers or former cop killers with that name? Geez it’s like Joe Smith or Howard Johnson around here with all these same names!
Thanks!
Joe Smith
I feel the same way. Peterson has a mind like a computer filing system and can back up his statements with scientific facts, and express them with unbelievably eloquence. But yeah, every once in a while he misses the mark. I do believe that his secular orientation creates gaps in his otherwise impressive wisdom.
It may by digital in implementation but it’s WEF elite driven, constructed and enforced.
Just try to unplug from the Matrix.

Pretty sure you’re thinking of the name “Scott Peterson”.
Much like enchanted, ever multiplying brooms carrying water.
