Former President Trump said Thursday that he’d ban the U.S. government from labeling any domestic speech as “misinformation” or “disinformation” if he returns to the White House.
“I will sign an executive order banning any federal department or agency from colluding with any organization, business or person to censor, limit, categorize or impede the lawful speech of American citizens. I will then ban federal money from being used to label domestic speech as mis- or disinformation,” Trump said in a pre-taped video shared with the New York Post.
The former president also said he’d fire federal bureaucrats who he perceived to have engaged in domestic censorship.
“Directly or indirectly, whether they are the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Health and Human Services, the FBI, the DOJ, no matter who they are,” he said of those he’d seek to fire.
Trump further pledged to direct the Department of Justice to “aggressively prosecute” the alleged censorship.

Unlike the trading cards, this is actually the good Trump. Government shouldn’t be colluding with private industry to approve only certain speech as factual.
I wouldn’t be opposed to it as it would be an EO effecting the executive branch only... effectively ending this ‘Ministry of Truth’ nonsense we’ve seen in the last few years...

If the corrupt FBI and DNI want to give a 'stamp of approval' for the buttered up fools running DC that would be fine. But they don't need to push that crap on free citizens... We won't always to able to tell the truth from lies because folks on our side put out lies too... but we sure don't need the 'help' of liars like 'the fifty' who published a letter saying Hunter's laptop looked like Russian disinformation... They knew they were misleading the American people and attempt to use that trickery to swing an election.
If I had my way those '50' would lose their government pensions and spend a good chunk of what time they have left in prison.
