After outcry from conservatives and Republican lawmakers who weren't willing to betray the GOP's commitment to the rule of law, legal immigration, and border security, an attempt to grant mass amnesty to DACA beneficiaries is, according to reporting on Wednesday night, dead.
Unsurprisingly, the fatally flawed legislative framework that was supposed to gin up support on both sides of the political aisle in the U.S. Senate did exactly the opposite as Republicans who limped across the midterm election finish line with barely a majority in the House and a loss in the Senate were not ready to hitch their names to a bill that was toxic among Republican voters.

They'd like an Amnesty but they don't need it.
The flood of illegals continues, no matter what do.
And that's how they want it.
The good thing about Republicans being cowards is they back down when their base gets pissed at them

When I’m told that some hideous bill is dead is when I really start worrying about it. D.C. has an uncanny way of making the “dead” villain come back to life, usually when everyone has celebrated its demise and moved on.

I remember well the 1986 “Amnesty to End All Amnesties”. It promised workplace and border enforcement, which never happened. Finish this law first. Amnesty proposals remind me of Charlie Brown, Lucy, and a football.

This was about having enough senators who opposed this on their own.
It's a good sign that the doom and gloom crowd needs to wake up and realize that not all is lost. Democrats have been pushing mass amnesty for illegals for decades, and Republicans have never let it through. After the betrayal of the 1986 deal, there are enough who won't let it happen.
Thom Tillis is a revolting, pestilential individual. He must be raking in a lot of cashola for all his pushes for mass amnesties and more invasions over the years.
Because Dems do not quit when their bills die. They regroup and keep trying. The Rs shrug and say well we tried.
Deal or no deal, the losers keep coming here and are released.
Operation Wetback 2 is needed.
Crush companies that hire illegals.
Deport everyone that isn’t a citizen.
No more refugees, go elsewhere.
We will wind up like Brazil if this isn’t addressed.
Amnesty would allow them to get citizenship and then legally register to vote.
Not that the Dumb-O-Crats actually care whether they can LEGALLY vote. #BallotsNotVotes
