Mayor Eric Adams said he was thrilled that the Democratic Party is “prioritizing Black voters” as it moved to have its first presidential primary shifted to South Carolina, calling the plan a “tectonic change in how Democrats are messaging their priorities as a party,” in a CNN-published op-ed this week.
The Democratic National Committee’s rule-making arm voted earlier this month to make South Carolina, not Iowa, the site of the first presidential nominating contest in 2024 after President Biden called on the party to cater to a more diverse electorate as Democrats have been losing black voters in recent years.
The Iowa Caucuses have been the first test for Democratic White House contenders since 1972, followed by primaries and caucuses in New Hampshire and Nevada.

The first person to bring up race is usually the racist.

Iowa & NH embarrassed Biden with 4th & 5th place showings. James Clyburn of SC did a deal with Biden to deliver SC and save Biden. Moving the SC primary to first spot was either part of that deal, a move to protect Biden against ‘24 challengers, or payback to Iowa & NH for rejecting Biden. Probably all three.
That was an “interesting” sequence where Brandon went from “failed candidate” to “presumptive nominee” in about 10 days.
Adams is just another racist, incompetent punk. This guy was called long before his election. He’s a SOCIAL JUSTICE ex-”cop” and the results during his term this year are not unexpected. Higher crime, more waste resulting in more people leaving NYC. Those who can get out should get out. Let NYC and the state by extension go straight to the bottom of the toilet. It has to crash and burn before anything will begin to improve.
A state they have no chance of carrying in the next 25 or more years. Good move Sherlock.
