As freezing weather approaches El Paso, a homeless shelter reports it is beyond capacity due to the surge in migrants being released on the city’s streets. Elsewhere in the city, two migrants were attacked and robbed outside a bus station by another migrant illegally present from Mexico.
As thousands of migrants camp out along the Rio Grande in Mexico and along the streets of El Paso, freezing conditions are expected to hit. Five homeless shelters report they are unable to accept new people as they are either at or above capacity, KVIA ABC7 in El Paso reported.

18 U.S. Code § 3 - Accessory after the fact
Whoever, knowing that an offense against the United States has been committed, receives, relieves, comforts or assists the offender in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial or punishment, is an accessory after the fact.
Except as otherwise expressly provided by any Act of Congress, an accessory after the fact shall be imprisoned not more than one-half the maximum term of imprisonment or (notwithstanding section 3571) fined not more than one-half the maximum fine prescribed for the punishment of the principal, or both; or if the principal is punishable by life imprisonment or death, the accessory shall be imprisoned not more than 15 years.
Normally I would say “Yet these politicians keep getting voted into office...”
But now I will say “These politicians continue to keep office by fraud. Our votes mean nothing anymore.”
Abbott is way more Pence than he is Trump. So don’t expect too much.

In all seriousness, Texas could go deep red just by handing off that corner of El Paso back to Mexico. Make El Paso the ONE border customs station for the ENTIRE BORDER, right in the middle of a half-mile high big beautiful wall.
