A leaked membership list suggests that Oath Keepers have infiltrated the Department of Homeland Security.
More than 300 members of the paramilitary group describe themselves as current or former DHS employees.
DHS did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Just weeks after Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes was convicted of seditious conspiracy for trying to violently overturn the 2020 election, a leak of the paramilitary group's membership list has revealed that potentially hundreds of far-right extremists have infiltrated federal law enforcement, the Project on Government Oversight reported on Monday.
Launched in 2009, the Oath Keepers from the start tried to recruit from the military and law enforcement with an ostensible goal of upholding the US Constitution and having its members refuse unlawful orders, per the Southern Poverty Law Center, which labels it an "extremist" group. In practice, that has meant, as on January 6, rejecting the rule of law — court orders and democratic processes that thwart far-right policy goals — in favor of conspiracy theories and armed resistance.

Was DHS infiltrated by the Oath Keepers?
or
Was the Oath Keepers infiltrated by DHS?
“upholding the US Constitution and having its members refuse unlawful orders,”
Don’t police, military, and Government officials take an oath to uphold the Constitution? Why would anyone obey an unlawful order? Well, at least I now know what makes someone a right wing extremist in the eye of the MSM.
It has been speculated that January 6th instigator Ray Epps was a DHS confidential informant, which is why at first the FBI had him on their "most wanted" list then later quietly removed him.

It follows that a left wing extremist would not uphold the Constitution and would follow unlawful orders. Hmmmm
My first thought exactly. I doubt Oath Keepers would have bothered infiltrating the Department of Homeland Security. I hope I’m wrong.
The obvious question, never asked or considered.
I wish that the DoJ, FBI and DHS were loaded to the rafters with people who uphold their oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Fed! Fed! Fed!
We’ll never find out the answer to this question, that’s “top secret…”
The Oath is to the Constitution
The Communists, Marxist, and Globalist are infiltrating DHS and other Gov’t bodies
Who’s oath they keeping?
The 300 DHS employees are NOT paid federal informants.
They are - LOL - bona fide Oath Keepers who have infiltrated the DHS!
” potentially hundreds of far-right extremists have infiltrated federal law enforcement” Well thousands of far-left extremists have infiltrated all of government.
This is a very questionable report. Both the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is quoted as a reliable source, and the publisher of the piece are far left. Neither should be trusted.
So they cite the SPLC, a leftist hate group that declares anyone they don’t agree with as a “far right extremist hate group”, and then go on to characterize citizens that wish to “uphold the Constitution” as some sort of threat and that it is highly concerning that some of them may have jobs in the government.
What is really of concern is the unsaid premise, that those whom wish to uphold the Constitution SHOULD NOT be in positions with our government. There is nothing illegal about being an Oath Keeper. They’re being portrayed as some form of Nazis when those distorting their character are the ones behaving like actual Nazis.
This is classic “frame the narrative” propaganda. And NO, I’m not in the Oath Keeper organization.
The Clintoon, Business Insider rag. It can’t get any further left.
