“ I am so tired of being called a racist.”
I watched 8th graders — several of whom were minorities — mock each other and call each other “racist” (jokingly) for not passing a ball, not giving them their fries, etc.
They know it’s now a meaningless accusation.
In the ‘80’s, my YT students were calling each other “bigots”.
