You missed my point.

If Russia is directly threatening to nuke us, that is between us and Russia.

Who put the US in charge of the Ukraine that they feel they can “give permission” for the Ukraine to take any military action they deem necessary? Can’t the Ukrainians think and act for themselves? Do we have to hold their hands while they wait for our “permission”?

Besides, it’s not our war and if we had stayed out of it, Russia wouldn’t have any reason to be threatening us.

If Russia threatens to nuke a NATO country then it is a NATO issue, not to mention nuking the USA would be a global threat coming from Russia, all countries would be involved in the results of a nuclear war, and the resulting global wars, famine and chaotic bloodshed coming from the loss of America.

I believe the permission issue with Ukraine is based on their agreements with us before we give them certain long-distance weapons, not them simply asking us for permission to do something.

Russia weaponizes everything. Energy, nuclear saber rattling, etc. They’ll find a reason to threaten to nuke us because that is just how KGB filth like Putin operate. They have no bounderies.

Russia doesn’t need a reason to rape it’s smaller neighbors. It’s been a feature of Russian society for centuries. Putin is an irredentist who fancies himself a new czar.

It isn’t the interest of the US politically or economically to have a neo USSR allied with the Chinese Communist party. It is much better to kick Russian corruption and influence out of Europe. Morally, conservatives understand that no free people should face the misery and murder rule by the Kremlin promises them. President Trump aggress and his policies reflect that. Don’t be duped by gaslighting in support of Kremlin and its tin pot czar. We’re better than that.

They did when they came begging. If I buy my child a car, I get to say where they can take it.

When they pay their own way, yes. Till then the man who pays the piper calls the tune.
