Romney will 'absolutely not' support Trump if he is the 2024 GOP nominee

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) said Thursday he would not support former President Donald Trump if he were to become the Republican nominee for president in 2024.

“Absolutely not,” Romney told a reporter during an event on climate change in Washington, D.C. “Look, I voted to remove him from office twice.”

“And it’s not just because he loses,” the senator said of his refusal to support Trump. “That’s my reason that I offer to other people who are big fans of his. But it’s also [that] he’s simply not a person who ought to have the reins of the government of the United States.”

I think Trump will somehow manage even with the loss of the half dozen people in the US who look to Mitt Romney for guidance on how to vote.

The last candidate I voted for without reservation was Pat Buchanan.

I can’t believe what Romney will or won’t do matters to anyone.

Romney is pure scum, and no Republican; he certainly bats for the other team. Let him drop dead, traitor that he is.

"Trump is going to be 80 years old by 2024, and although I voted for him twice, I’m tired of his constant pandering."

Yeah, and I got tired of his constant lack of $6 gasoline.

Unless the Rs get busy outlawing mail-in balloting in any format (shut-ins and overseas folks excepted), it isn’t gonna matter who we run. The vote count will be overwhelming D. Notice that I said the ‘vote count’, not living, breathing ‘voter count’. Those numbers have not been reasonably close in value for decades and are diverging rapidly.

Yes I know that Congress-critters and Senators are not supposed to legislate how the states conduct elections. But they can make speeches and otherwise support the state legislative bodies that take up making unlimited mail-in balloting illegal.

We all should frequently drop a note to our state and federal reps stating that a lack of support for limited mail-in balloting by them signals to us that they support unlimited ballot by mail and that is unacceptable.

Unfortunately it a well known axiom that the ‘Stupid Party’ would rather serve in He!! than rule in Heaven.

Why does this vile human feel the need to announce to the world his every thought? Does he have Tourrettes or Aspberger’s that compels him to blurt this stuff out? I think the guy has serious deficiencies of some sort along with being just plain disgraceful.

>>>Trump is going to be 80 years old by 2024<<<

To make a point, clean and healthy living his whole life by Mr. Trump has given him the mind of body of some probably in his 60’s. Do you recall when he shook the hand of every student (100’s) at the military academy? He stood erect during the entire time when he was greeting them personally.

Yes, Donald Trump will be a force to be reckoned with well into his 90’s.

Such contempt and revulsion do I feel for this treasonous and deceitful serpent.

He and Paul Ryan drink from the same chalice.
