I saw an interview in which Ricardo Montalban said he was doing Fantasy Island at the same time as Star Trek. He wasn’t sure if he could switch from a light friendly character to a complex evil one. Apparently he could. And he did it very well; I’d say he was the best actor in the movie. By the way, aside from Khan’s right hand man Joachim, all his henchmen were played by chip n dale dancers.
Chip n dale dancers.......that’s funny.
Really? Ever heard of Star Trek V, I mean I’m just asking for a friend.
Star Trek II was the best Star Trek movie of all IMHO.
There is no Star Trek V, the series simply skips from IV to VI for no accountable reason….
Yep.
As a matter of fact, Space Seed is about to come on the H & I channel in 8 minutes. I think I’ll watch it.
Agreed.
I said “ONE” of the weakest NOT THE weakest.
I said “ONE” of the weakest NOT THE weakest.
Arguably Star Trek V is THE worst.
That was his real chest in the movie, by the way. He worked out considerably for a man of his age. Which just goes to show, you’re never too old to rock and roll.
Mint in Box Khan Action Figure with realistic muscular Chest!
Bet thats worth a Mint now.
No doubt.
RIP
She’s one of those famous women who are thin with cocaine and thick without it. Stevie Nicks is another. Many people get thicker as they get older. Some famous women start using cocaine just partying and then when they quit, they start getting thick and people start talking about it so they start doing coke again. Kristie talks about it in a one hour interview with Tucker Carlson.
That’s sad about the cocaine :(
Those crazy 80s shoulder pads didn’t help. They made women of normal weight look like football players in full gear. A few statuesque beauties like Princess Diana could carry them off. Me, I detested them and refused to wear them.
It’s also sad that people pick at people who get thick. There are so many people who eat right, exercise, and still can’t shed those last pounds — our bodies can be so stubborn and the weight our bodies want to be changes as we age. I used to have to have to drink fattening shakes after meals to keep up a normal weight. Now I don’t, and glad of it! I do not judge others over their weight, having struggled for years to keep pounds on, but many do.
Also sad about her death, of course. So many people missed cancer screenings because of the stupid Covid lockdowns. I can’t help wondering if she was among them and might still be alive...
