Sen. Rand Paul leaned into the transgender issue during an interview Friday with FNC's Laura Ingraham:
SEN. RAND PAUL: Who is also responsible for telling a four-year-old that we need to talk about their gender and whether they’re in the appropriate body?
Who’s talking about giving picture books to six-year-olds with illustrations of surgery to remove their genitalia?
It’s Democrat politicians and woke left-wing people.
There’s not one Republican -- look, Republicans are not perfect. But Republicans are not pushing your child to have surgery to remove their genitalia as early as elementary school. No Republican is pushing this. These are crazy left-wing Democrats. It was also crazy left-wing Democrats who were for the lockdown across America.

The democrats want to destroy women and turn men into women
Rand, it isn’t enough not to push for genital mutilation in our children, this insanity has to be stopped.
Exactly. As it is, Rand Paul's own comment speaks volumes, is the real tell here. We're supposed to view the GOP as cultural saviors because they're not actively pushing genital mutilation of minors? Um, okay, got it. I'm happy to know where this twit is setting the bar for his party.
So, tell me, how many Republican leaders have even spoken up against the practice?
Rand Paul is a hypocrite and a coward. No sale.
True.
(What a low low barrier the GOP has to clear!)
But GOP hadn’t stopped the D’s, either
I love Rand but “have you seen the other guy?” politics just isn’t good enough today.
Robert Dole once exclaimed in frustration “Where is the outrage?” Sadly as the last election demonstrated, a far too high percentage of voters lack outrage and are way too tolerant of decadence of all sorts.
Child LGERBILQ+ grooming is the hill we should be willing to die one. Besides how unbelievably important the issue is, it is simple, easy to understand, and disgusting.
If only the Republicans cared about our country, they would move this issue front and center and ride it to victory again and again.
What can they feasibly do? I would like to see some push-back but not sure what....
Does the law need to be updated?
Any person who has worked around livestock knows the difference between a male and female.
Any person who has NOT worked around livestock should be able to look in a mirror and tell the same difference.
10 years from now, you’ll see how they succeeded.
True. What he is basically saying we are big stinking turd, but at least we aren’t a turn, with vomit and babies’ blood in it.
“That may be true, but it is also true the Republicans are not doing anything to stop this.”
How can they? Frank Luntz (infamous Republican ‘pollster’) has directed Republicans to stay away from ‘divisive social issues’ like protecting kids from groomers and pedophiles.
So Republicans have NO CHOICE if they want support from the party - they must tolerate the social changes coming about and instead focus on Capital Gains Tax Cuts.
Well, it seems to me that it would be "feasible" for the GOP to vocally and persistently condemn the practice and denounce those within the medical and pharmaceutical community who both promote it and (more to the true point) make bank off of it.
But I'm not holding my breath. Not for a political party that worships filthy mammon. Not for Rand Paul, for whom such filthy mammon is his god.
But some of those Repukes would compromise with the RATS on things that would endanger American children.
Rand is safe, and can spew off anything he wants, put Fauci's feet to the fire, etc., because Republicans have no majority, and will probably never have the majority in the Senate ever again, so he and others can be brave in what they say, because they know they will never be forced to have to actually do anything. To me, Rand is just another Lindsey Graham.
I stopped liking the guy when he changed his mind about rejecting Biden's electors on January 6th. He basically did so, because he bought the media's take on what happened that day. He scattered like the rest of the chickens who fled the Senate. Marcia Blackburn's another one. Fourteen Republicans had planned to reject Biden's electors that day. Only 8 stayed true to their word. The other six turn-tail and ran.
The 8 who stayed true were:
Ted Cruz (TX)
Josh Hawley (MO)
Cindy Hyde-Smith (MS)
Cynthia Lummis (WY)
John Kennedy (LA)
Roger Marshall (KS)
Rick Scott (FL)
Tommy Tuberville (AL)
Depopulationists are nothing if not creative and persistent.
None to my knowledge. This isn't a matter of politics, it's criminality. If they can't stop this, they deserve to fade away.
Good point!
