The U.S. Justice Department has asked a federal judge to hold Donald Trump's office in contempt of court for failing to fully comply with a subpoena to return all classified documents in the former president's possession, the Washington Post reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
U.S. District Court Judge Beryl Howell has not yet held a hearing or ruled on the request, the newspaper reported.
One of the key areas of disagreement centers on the Trump legal team's repeated refusal to designate a custodian of records to sign a document attesting that all classified materials have been returned to the federal government, the report added.
Trump's side has taken the position that such a request is unreasonable, according to the Washington Post.

And just last week I wrote how having the lawyers “attest” to secretly searching Trump’s home for documents was nothing more than a setup to accuse the lawyers and Trump of contempt of court, perjury, and any other number of BS charges.
They keep skirting around what they actually want to do, but never will do... Charge Donald Trump with a crime.
But they never will, because every court in the land except some biased court that would eventually be overruled, knows that they don’t have a case and that any charges would be thrown out by a higher court with a severe rebuke.
This ongoing witch hunt is aging like milk, at this point...
Sadly, though, the pubbies don’t have the stones for the fight, so they will roll over and take it, again.
Further, it is becoming more and more apparent that the American People don’t have the stomach for the fight necessary to save this once great Nation.

I would never let a client sign one either unless they were present there during the search watching and actually saw every single thing they took and could remember it all. Which would basically never happen unless it was maybe only 1 to 4 items taken

She clerked for Dickinson Debevoise when he was permanently rigging US "elections" with The Consent Decree of 1982.
Debevoise retired - but he would come back when necessary to keep the consent decree in place till he finally tipped over in 2015 at the ripe old age of 91.
By that time, the DNC had all its "judges" in place in the vote fraud centers, and an Obama judge finally let the consent decree lapse in early 2018.
He's not mentioned at all except as "a federal judge", and the law dude they were interviewing said this about Debevoise's renewals of the Consent Decree:
"And over the years, the Democrats convinced judges to extend this consent decree until now."
Except for the fact that the "judges" were one judge, and he didn't need any convincing.
This is just another example of how our "history" appears to be lies from beginning to end.
If you go to Debevoise's Wikipedia page, there was absolutely NO mention of this - one of the greatest feats in the history of the Democrat Party - until November 5, 2022.
I've been monitoring that page for years, and just checked it before I posted.
I was gobsmacked to see the reference [the original Wikipedia page was created in 2007].

Roland Freisler was born in Germany in 1893. He joined the German Army and during the First World War he was captured by the Russian Army and was a prisoner of war.
On his return to Germany he joined the German Communist Party. After studying at university he became a lawyer. His political views gradually moved to the right and in 1925 he joined the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP).
When Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933 Freisler was appointed chief personnel officer in the Prussian Ministry of Justice. The following year he became state secretary in the Prussian and then the federal Ministry of Justice.
In July 1942, Freisler joined Reinhard Heydrich, Heinrich Muller and at Adolf Eichmann the Wannsee Conference where they discussed the issue of the large number of inmates in Germany's concentration camps. At the meeting it was decided to make the extermination of the Jews a systematically organized operation. Eichmann was then placed in charge of what became known as the Final Solution. After this date extermination camps were established in the east that had the capacity to kill large numbers of inmates.
Freisler was appointed as president of the “People's Court” in August 1942. The court had been set up to judge "political crimes" and presided over the trial of those involved in the July Plot.
Roland Freisler was killed during an Allied air raid when he was hit on the head by falling masonary in February 1945.
