I am a retired Army Field Grade Officer and am at a loss for how far our military has plunged. This LTC is far, far out of bounds and should be relieved of his duties immediately. Of course nothing will happen but these sorts of actions will get us into war eventually as the Chinese finally decide we are too weak to resist their aggression. Absolutely disgusting.

Suddenly, the concerned mom found herself the target of one Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Shilling, who stated that the Joint Base (McGuire, Fort Dix and Lakehurst) are looking into her posts and informing law enforcement.

This can't be legal - it is no part of the US military's role to meddle with the free speech rights of private citizens. If this story is true, Lt. Col Shilling needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, as do any of his superior officers who authorized his intimidation tactics.

Hate to say it but the stories about how the military encouraged straight men for years to have sex and providing “sex tents” for them would naturally lead to this kind of perversion.
